MID NORFOLK RAILWAY PLANS TO REOPEN TO WYMONDHAM FOR DIESEL GALA EVENT FOLLOWING BRIDGE WORKS

Today, the Mid-Norfolk Railway is pleased to announce that we are planning to reopen the line to Wymondham Abbey in time for our Diesel Gala weekend over the May bank holiday weekend.

This is a distant heavy crop bur thought it was worth posting as its the first time I've personally witnessed this. Watched this female Cuckoo go to ground then come up a minute or so later with a Pipit egg, obviously she had just laid hers to replace it!

WHAT an occasion! 💥🤯 The 8-meter tall, Eels Foot SWIFT TOWER was officially opened this week 😍

And, just in time to welcome back the first Swifts of the year after their mammoth migration ❤️ Thanks to all who attended, making the day an incredibly special one! ✨

We’re awash with cow parsley and tulips. (Tulips are ‘Spring Green’, ‘Green Spirit’ & ‘White Triumphator’).

Hobby going in for the kill as he flew over us as we walked the path from Eastbridge to RSPB Minsmere 🌍 . BTW he missed!!
