In Maths, the Y1 children in Class 1/2 have been practicing making and describing turns. We started outside turning ourselves and different natural objects. We then turned different shapes and tested each other. #MathsTPA #Class12TPA

#Class12tpa had lots of fun exploring seconds, minutes and hours today in #MathTPA How many minutes did it take us to put on our coat and fasten it up? How many seconds did it take to write our name? Did it take seconds or minutes to build a tower of 10 cubes? Who won the race?

This afternoon #class12tpa went outside to explore micro habitats. We carefully lifted logs to find lots of small creatures living underneath them and explored the playground to see what other micro habitats we could fine. #sciencetpa

Today #Class12tpa had a very practical maths lesson measuring capacity. They used different sized containers and found out how many cubes it took to fill them. Then they used different scoops and pots to fill their containers with water. #MathsTPA

We have been retelling the story of the Velveteen Rabbit and I'm blown away by this piece of writing from one of our Year 1 children! #EnglishTPA #Class12TPA

In #ComputingTPA we used our data to create a Block Diagram. This is a different way of presenting our data, we previously used Pictograms. We were able to answer questions about data collected using the Block Diagram. #Class12TPA
