With just 40 days to go to Comrades race day, the Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) is cautioning runners about ongoing roadworks on King Cetshwayo Highway as it crosses over the N2 just before the Westwood Mall in the Sherwood/ Westville vicinity.
CMA Race & Operations Manager, Ann Ashworth says, โIt is vital that every aspirant #Comrades2024 runner submits all necessary qualifying details in order for them to meet the requirements to participate in this yearโs race. We urge athletes to submit accurate information.
They must raise R6000 for the SANParks Honorary Rangers by 6 May to qualify for a favourable seeding at #Comrades2024 on 9 June. Let's stand by them as they Race to save our Natural Heritage.
