Encore une portière évitée de justesse ... please !! 🙏.

Cyclists are one of the most at-risk groups of all vulnerable road users, so it’s important drivers do everything possible to help keep them safe.

Adopt the safety technique called the ‘Dutch Reach’ and help save the lives of cyclists on the road.

To safely open your vehicle door, use your hand farthest away from the door. This makes you turn your head to look over your shoulder which increases your visibility of other road users or people on the pavement

Always maintain at least 2-3 feet gap from stopped vehicles.
Not everyone looks at the mirror, blindspot and opens the door.

Drivers and passengers, don't forget to use the whenever you leave a vehicle. This means using your farthest arm to open the car door, allowing you to glance over your shoulder and check for approaching bicyclists.

Always for wheels and feet 🚴🚘
