Could not choose between these so you get two of the best Cornish bench ends in one: Altarnun 1510-1530 'Robert Daye maker of this work' and the Mermaid of Zennor C15. Both so beautiful.

Wimborne Minster
'Outstandingly good hoodmould stops, especially of Moses, of c.1200, re-set' (Pevsner). Moses with horns, from a mistranslation of Hebrew for 'shone', leading to common depiction in this period. Love the plaited beard!
