Michael Antonelli I got to stand next to the model for the 'For Your Eyes Only' James Bond movie on the Tom Snyder show in 1981. I was cutting through Rockefeller Center in NYC and Cliff Robertson walked over to me and invited me up. I had no idea who he was and all of these tourists gawked at me

Currently watching the doc on BBC2 at the moment. In his biography, apparently one of the few times he was ever heard swearing was when, left in his wheelchair in front of a Jimmy Savile rail poster, he muttered at the image, 'c*nt'.

How rather splendid that we remember who was born on this day in 1912. Best remembered for his comedic role as Sergeant Wilson in the sitcom 'Dad's Army', John was, a self-confessed, 'jobbing actor' appearing in more than 120 films across a range of genres.

Archivetvmusings Nice attention to detail. This show was, of course, far more clever and subtle than many give it credit for. I never tire of it. is outstanding. They all are really.
