Rather than calling for wage restraint Bank of England and Jeremy Hunt shouldn’t we prioritise more #NHS resources to the 400,000 people (20 times 2019 levels) who are #LongTermSick so they can return to work most are aged 50+ and are our most experienced and skilled workers.

Asking people about what jobs they have had to leave because of M.E./LC is such an eye-opener and a heartbreaker.

Couldn't agree more. UK Labour need to think seriously about their attitude to #longtermsick #Disabled community too. Hounding vulnerable people into jobs, scaring people with removal of funds cos MPs are too scared to stand up for us...I hope there's a change of direction
