Last night, observers in Spain and Portugal might have witnessed a spectacular fireball streaking through the sky. Good news: 1. It was a meteor, not a missile. 2. Our atmosphere did its job beautifully, burning up the meteor before it could reach the ground.

A year ago today, the #DARTMission successfully changed the orbit of the asteroid Dimorphos, and Lucy was lucky enough to watch! This false color image shows Lucy's view of the debris cloud. Data collected from this #PlanetaryDefense test mission is still teaching new things!
