Nangra assamensis (Assamese Nangra)

A silver-colored sisorid catfish that's found in the Ganges and Brahmaputra rivers.
The long maxillary barbels are the standout feature of this small catfish that gets to only about 3 inches.

A new sisorid catfish identified as Glyptothorax rupiri, has been named after S. Rupir Boli, a range forest officer of Mouling National Park in Arunachal Pradesh, for his help in collecting the specimens during the first survey by researchers.

#Arunachal_pardesh :- Researchers team from the Zoological Survey of India‘s freshwater fish section, L.Kosygin, Pratima Singh, and Shibananda Rathi, obtained a specimen of the catfish from the Siang, which was eventually identified as Glyptothorax repair, a new sisorid catfish.

Gogangra viridescens is a small sisorid catfish which grows to around 3 inches. In captivity, they are best kept in small groups in tanks with good current and high dissolved oxygen.
