🧵1/ It was incredible to see so many MPs raise the case of #JimmyLai and the continual erosion of #HongKong ’s freedoms today in the UK House of Commons debate.

While CCP desperately tries to force a falsehood in the #JimmyLai trial, ie that Lai was the 'leader' of Hong Kong protests, the whole world knows truth that the protests sparked in 2019 are HK's response to CCP tyranny and barbarism, not just one man's. Exceptional though he is.

4/ Thank you Chris Bryant for getting clarity on whether the farcical trial of #JimmyLai has been raised with the #Chinese ambassador.

We are glad to hear his case is continually being raised to Chinese counterparts.
