I forgot to share this yesterday: I'm drawing plant size charts for.... something.... it's still very early days, but anyway, I thought you'd like to see.

One thing that I think helps me understand and accept the idea that paleontology always changes was the paleo media of the early 2000s.

Each dinosaur was different depending on where I looked, and seeing so much variety really helped me to understand that on a very young age.

Happy , check out this skull from a juvenile Gryposaurus! These hadrosaurs called North America their home roughly 75 million years ago, and this particular individual would have enjoyed the lush jungle that makes up the Kaiparowits Formation. (1/2)

Thescelosaurus neglectus has the most accurate name in paleontology because this little fucker is one of the most interesting animals in Hell Creek (and that's saying something) but no one seems to care.

On a recent visit to the UAlberta Collections I got to check out the new palaeontology display with casts of “Havoc” the Saurornitholestes and “Baby” the juvenile Chasmosaurus.

The hammer broke. Pick too.

The MSU bookstore is a few thousand miles away, so we made due with traditional tried and true paleontology dinosaur bone removal techniques.

What was on the T. rex menu? These fearsome predators devoured massive herbivores, juvenile dinosaurs, and even engaged in cannibalism.
