#GovtKE to ensure every household is served by well-trained, salaried, supervised, & equipped CHWs.
This precedes upcoming govt plans to launch #CHW initiatives.

CHWs are vital for pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response. CHWs not only help prevent and respond to pandemics but also help maintain health services during emergencies. To be ready for the next pandemic, we must make professional CHWs (proCHWs) the norm. #UNGA78

CHWs bring primary health services straight to their neighbors’ doorsteps, extending immunization services beyond health facilities. As Community Health Impact Coalition we urge Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance to invest in #proCHWs and systems-level investments that center community health priorities.
