Today we completed our final training with ICTJ which was on #Good #governance and the #SDGs looking at SDG 5,10 & 16 with our implementing partners Fantanka Peace Ambassadors - The Gambia Think Young Women on our project EMPOWERING GAMBIAN #YOUTHS .

Currently in Nioro Jataba-Sankandi Upper and Senior Secondary School for a sensitization on the #TRRC recommendations and gov't white paper in relation to #SGBV .
It is essential to sensitize the youthful population in order to foster meaningful engagement and participation.

We are currently in Soma Senior Secondary School for a continuation of our school outreach/sensitization on the #TRRC recommendation and gov't white paper supported by ICTJ through United Nations Peacebuilding

We visited Jappineh Sen. Sec. School and Dasilameh Basic Cycle School in LRR to sensitize students on the findings of the #TRRC more especially in addressing issues surrounding #SGBV

The EWC steering committee had a meeting today with NDI-The Gambia ahead of the Electoral Reform Conference.

This conference will bring together all election stakeholders to discuss the work we do and reforms we want to have before the next electoral cycle.
