.World Health Organization (WHO) and partners went to Khan Younis yesterday to assess the health facilities there. The team described the destruction as 'disproportionate to anything one can imagine'. No building or road is intact, there is only rubble and dirt.

In Sudan, many die due to violence related injuries and preventable illnesses.
Children die due to malnutrition.
Women die because of complications during pregnancy/childbirth.
Patients with chronic diseases die because they are running out of medication.

We’re seeing catastrophic levels of malnutrition in Sudan. Over 8.4 million people have fled their home since April 2023. The United Nations has estimated that 13,900 people have been killed since the war began. Although this is likely an underestimate.

Today, April 5th at around 3:00am, our MSF International office in Pokrovsk, in the Donetsk region, in Ukraine was bombed and completely destroyed. All our staff are safe. Five civilians who were close to the office were injured. #WarInUkraine
