It is #WorldArtDay2024 so enjoy some of the paintings in the art store in Search Engine National Railway Museum including works by Terence Cuneo, Spencer Gore, Edward Bawden, David Shepherd and Helen McKie
The Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway was opened #OnThisDay in 1903. One of many lines built as a result of the Light Railway Act of 1896, it was operated by the Cambrian Railway and then the GWR, we have drawings for locomotives & stock in our Swindon collection
