May 5th marks Liberation Day in the Netherlands, a moment to contemplate our freedom. This year, let's reflect on the realities of war and the importance of global cooperation in securing peace. The privilege of freedom demands responsibility from all of us.

I delivered a statement from the #BeNeLux at the commemorative event for #ICPD30 #UNGA . While there are topics that divide us, let’s focus at those that unite us. And involve young people in this process - we must include their hopes, dreams and demands. They are the future. 💙

The fire trucks will be used in cities Praia and Mindelo and signify the ties between the Netherlands and Cape Verde.
