Even if I did have a legitimate diagnosis of #EUPD (I did not) I had >3 red flag risk factors on MEED that would have warranted a medical admission until stabilised. Instead, no risk assessment was carried out and I was dismissed as ‘seeking medical attention due to attachment’.

He needed help not to be criminalised because he was in a crisis. Just like when the police took me to court for wasting police time because I was in a crisis and not in a good way. People with EUPD should be taken seriously

Without a sick note I would 100% have died multiple times, EUPD crisis is nothing to joke about. You kept definitely do not want someone who’s at crisis at work. Taking away their ability to get a sick note screams privilege in itself. Mental health is NOT A JOKE

We need to appreciate more the link between BPD/EUPD and early infant period of one’s life. Emotional dysregulation is directly caused by a lack of co-regulation from a dysregulated primary caregiver, in that period when self-soothing and self-regulation is most important.

Keir Harding The very last thing those children need would be a label like “emerging EUPD”. They were traumatised and/or neurodivergent children trying to grapple with the world and feeling all the feelings that are totally appropriate for their circumstances.

I am firmly of the opinion that one of the major reasons for gender disparity in Dx of both #ADHD and #EUPD is the tendency to ascribe the symptoms of women to the latter.

Every single letter or entry on my medicla records has #EUPD highlighted in bold letters even when that is not the preventing issue. Just to warn people that I am someone they consider to be not human They in turn treat me badly which means they also refuse treatment.

I just found out that #BPD is also known as #EUPD which is Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder and while it’s a better descriptor, I low key hate it for some reason? I don’t know. Something about it gives me the ick. I feel like it just adds to the stigma surrounding BPD
